Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before registering for, downloading, or using the "Chalk: Gymnastics Tracker" mobile application ("Service" or "App").

By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Accounts and Cloud Services

Chalk offers both local features and premium cloud-based features. To access Premium features, including Cloud Sync and multi-athlete support, you are required to create an account via Google or Apple.

Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access the Service. Any actions taken under your account are your sole responsibility.
Cloud Sync & Data Safety: While our Premium service provides cloud backup of your athlete data, Meyers Digital Labs, LLC is not liable for data loss due to synchronization errors, network failures, or third-party cloud provider outages. We strongly recommend periodic manual checks of your data.
Free Tier Limits: The free version is limited to one (1) meet. To unlock unlimited tracking, multiple athletes, and secure cloud backup, a paid subscription is required.

2. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. renewal will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Restoration: If you change devices, you may use the "Restore Purchase" feature within the App to re-activate your Premium status using your original App Store or Google Play account.

Refund Policy: All subscription purchases are final. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google according to their respective store policies. Meyers Digital Labs, LLC cannot process refunds directly.

3. Scoring, Projections & Notifications Disclaimer

For Information and Motivation Only.

Mathematical Estimates: The "Road to 40" calculator, "Needed Average," and "All-Around" projections are mathematical estimates based solely on the data you input. Meyers Digital Labs, LLC makes no guarantee of future athletic performance or official scores. We are not responsible for decisions made by coaches, judges, or parents based on these estimates.

Personal Best Notifications: The App may generate automated notifications regarding "Personal Bests" or milestones based on your input. These are for entertainment purposes and do not constitute official athletic certification.

4. User Content & Image Processing

The App allows you to input data (scores, meet names) and generate graphics ("Chalkboards").

Ownership: You retain ownership of the data you enter.
Local Processing: "Chalkboard" images are generated locally on your device. Meyers Digital Labs, LLC does not store or see these images unless you choose to share them outside the App.
Intellectual Property: While you own your data, the design of the "Chalkboard" overlays, the "Chalk" brand name, and the "Road to 40" interface logic are the intellectual property of Meyers Digital Labs, LLC.

5. Account Deletion & Data Purge

You have the right to delete your data at any time. Per store requirements, we provide a permanent account deletion feature in the "Stats" tab.

Permanent Deletion: Authorizing a deletion (by typing "DELETE") will immediately purge your records from your device and initiate a request to wipe your data from our cloud servers. This action is irreversible.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meyers Digital Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the last 12 months.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
