Chalk is the ultimate gymnastics score tracker designed to help you master your season. Simply create an athlete profile, add your meet name and date, enter your scores for Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor, and Chalk automatically calculates your All-Around total. You can add up to 2 meets for free with the option to upgrade to Pro for unlimited meets, multiple athletes, and cloud sync.

Go to the Calculator tab and tap the + button to start a new meet. Fill in the following:

• Meet Name - e.g., "State Championship"
• Date - When the meet took place
• Level - Select from Level 1-10, Xcel, Elite, or NCAA
• Division (optional) - e.g., "Beginner", "Advanced"
• Scores - Enter each apparatus score (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor)
• Start Values (optional) - Adjust if different from 10.0

Your All-Around score will calculate automatically!

As you enter scores during a live meet, Chalk calculates exactly what average you need on the remaining events to hit major All-Around milestones (32.0, 34.0, 36.0, 37.0, 38.0, 39.0, and 40.0). If a milestone becomes mathematically impossible, it automatically greys out so you can stay focused on delivering your best performance. This feature helps you mentally track your progress in real-time!

After entering scores, tap the Placements button to record how you placed:

• Event Placements - Record 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place for each apparatus (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor)
• All-Around Placement - Enter your overall placement
• Medal Display - Medals (🥇🥈🥉) appear on your Chalkboard if you placed in the top 3

Placements are displayed on your meet Chalkboard and season summary!

Absolutely! We know medal icons aren't for everyone. In the Placements modal, you'll find a 🏅 toggle in the top-right corner that lets you turn medal icons on or off.

This preference applies app-wide and affects:

• All meet cards in your History
• Individual Chalkboards (meet view)
• Season Chalkboards
• Everything else in the app

Your preference is saved automatically, so it persists even after you close the app!

The Chalkboard is a beautiful, shareable image of your meet that displays:

• Your athlete name, meet name, and date
• Your All-Around score in large, eye-catching text
• Individual event scores (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor)
• Level and division information
• Medal indicators if you placed in the top 3

After saving a meet, tap View Chalkboard to see it, then Share to post it on social media or send to family and friends!

Yes! Tap the athlete name at the top of the main screen to open the Athlete Menu. From there, you can:

• Add new profiles - Create separate profiles for each child
• Edit names - Update athlete information anytime
• Switch between athletes - Quickly toggle to view different gymnasts' data

Note: Free version allows 1 athlete; Chalk Pro allows unlimited athletes.

Go to the Stats tab to see a comprehensive overview of your season:

• Season All-Around Average - Your average AA score across all meets
• Meet Count - Total number of meets logged
• Event Trends - Visual chart showing your performance across Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor
• Season Chalkboard - Share your entire season summary with a beautiful image
• Personal Bests - Track your highest scores on each apparatus and all-around

Chalk automatically tracks lifetime highs for each athlete. When you save a meet score that beats a previous record for Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, or All-Around, the app displays a special celebration notification. It's our way of helping you mark and celebrate those milestone achievements!

In the History tab, look at the bottom left on any meet card to find edit and delete options. You can:

• Edit - Tap to modify scores, placement info, or meet details
• Delete - Tap to remove the meet from your history

Changes are saved instantly and synced to cloud if you're on Chalk Pro!

Cloud Sync allows you to securely back up and restore your data across devices. Sign in with your account and all your data is securely encrypted and mirrored to our servers. This allows you to:

• Log in on a different device
• Tap the Restore Data button
• Instantly recover all your gymnasts, meets, and history

Your data is encrypted and protected. Never lose your gymnastics records again!

You can restore your Pro subscription on a new device:

1. Go to the Stats tab.
2. Scroll to the Premium Section and tap Restore Purchase.
3. If you're logged into the same account (Google Play or Apple App Store) used for the original purchase, your Pro status will reactivate immediately at no extra cost.

Go to the Stats tab and tap the Sign In button. You'll be guided through a secure login process to create or access your account. Once logged in, you can:

• Enable Cloud Sync for automatic backups
• Restore purchases and Pro status
• Access your data across multiple devices

Your privacy is our priority. Local data on your device stays yours. If you choose to use Cloud Sync, your data is:

• Encrypted end-to-end - Only you can access it
• Secured on private servers - Protected from unauthorized access

Yes! Tap the athlete name at the top of the screen, then tap the Edit icon next to the athlete's profile. You can change their name and default level (e.g., "Level 3" or "Xcel Gold"). This default level will pre-fill when you create new meets, saving you time!

We love supporting local gymnastics! In the Stats tab, tap the Support My Gym button to:

• Find your gym - Search from our database of registered gyms
• Select and support - Choose your gym to help boost its visibility
• Submit a new gym - If your gym isn't listed, suggest it for inclusion

Here's the best part: When you select your gym, we'll return 25% of your annual Chalk Pro membership directly to your gym or booster club of your choice. Chalk will issue a check directly to the organization every year—giving back to the community that supports your gymnastics journey!

When you share a Chalkboard image, you're generating a beautiful, high-quality image of your meet (or season) that you can:

• Post on social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Send to family and friends via text or email
• Save to your phone's photo library

The image includes your name, meet details, scores, and any medals you earned. It's the perfect way to celebrate your achievements!
